Low Ding Zone rehearses for the first time. The founding members are Lisa Arnold, Kevin Holsinger, Wil Mandac, Gretchen Rauch, and Larry Sue. Within a week or so we figure out that we need a sixth ringer, and so J.C. Sue joins us. |

We premiere Spiritual Boogie at the Area XII conference in Belmont, CA. Gretchen improvises shtick: “Brian (Pituley), I need you to stand right here in the middle of the aisle…” while we’re all in the back of the chapel. When Carol Smith finishes introducing us, Gretchen yells at Brian, “Move it or lose it, Buddy!” So begins our performing career… and the people there loved it! |
